Her approach is underpinned not only by a deep knowledge of healing plants but also their cultural history and their uses in medicine, magic and ritual. She is particularly interested in Anglo-Saxon magico-medica traditions, and historical plant uses in ancient Greece, Rome and the Middle-East.
