Angelica Root (Angelica archangelica)

A medicinal herb with warming, aromatic, bitter, tonifying, carminative, expectant, diaphoretic, antispasmodic, and emmenagogue herbal actions.

Traditionally used to support digestive health; to break a fever and clear congestion of the respiratory tract, to bring on delayed menstruation, and stimulate contractions during labour and to expel afterbirth.

Angelica was once believed to be a cure-all, a holy herb that could protect people from the plague. It can be used in spells for love, protection and healing.
