German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)

A medicinal herb with relaxing nervine, carminative, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and vulnerary properties. 

Traditionally used for its soothing and relaxing properties, to relieve headaches and menstral pain, arthritic pain, infant croup, colic and fever, improve sleep, and skin and haircare. 

Chamomile was once called 'Earth Apple' by the Ancient Greeks, because of the fragrance of the crushed flowers. The Matricaria comes from the Latin word 'matrix', meaning 'womb' or 'mother'.

Use it in spells for prosperity, peace, protection and happiness.
