Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca)

A medicinal herb with bitter, nervine, sedative and cardiotonic properties. Traditionally used to ease anxiety, manage stress, and support women's' reproductive health. 

Motherwort has long been used for heart conditions, helping to slow and regulate the heartbeat rate. For this reason it shouldn't be taken in conjunction with other cardiovascular medications.

Use motherwort in spells and rituals invoking inner strength and courage, and also the mother aspect of the triple goddess.

It can be used to ward against evil spirits, curses and to banish harmful influences.
